This is an apparently much-needed reminder, that the United States of America is a Constitutionally-limited Republic, NOT a “democracy”. Congress cannot simply vote every crazy, woke, progressive or “green” idea into law.
The government’s power is severely limited by the Constitution; the only powers the federal government has are those specifically enumerated! If not listed, they don’t exist. Period. And all laws must conform to the Constitution, or they have no legal authority.
