In the summer of 2020 they destroyed 140 cities, caused over $2 billion in damages, murdered 30 people and injured 700+ police officers, yet were falsely referred to as “peaceful protesters”.
When a few dozen (out of a million) patriotic rally participants got into scuffles with Capital police on January 6th, 2021, minor crimes compared to the violence and destruction we saw all summer, these same politicians and and legacy media call it “inexcusable, the work of terrorists, seditionists, insurrection,” etc. That’s double standards and hypocrisy.
